10. Troubleshooting
Problem
Solution
No reception of the outdoor
sensor signal
Pair with the outdoor sensor. See the section “Installation”
> “Pairing”.
Reset the outdoor sensor. See the section “Installation” >
“Prepare Outdoor Sensor” > “Insert batteries and set up”.
Reduce the distance between the weather station and the
outdoor sensor.
Make sure no obstacles or sources of interferences are
interfering with radio reception.
Change the batteries of the outdoor sensor. See the section
“Installation” > “Prepare Outdoor Sensor” > “Insert batteries
and set up”.
11. Care and Cleaning
Make sure the water pool sensor is firmly fastened and watertight before placing it in
water. See “Installation” > “Prepare Outdoor Sensor”.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical
solutions as they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
• The product is maintenance free (apart from changing the battery). Repair or maintenance
work must be done by a technician or a specialist repair centre. There are no product
components which have to be maintained. For this reason, never open it (except for
inserting/changing the batteries, as described in these operating instructions).
• Use a dry, soft and clean cloth to clean the weather station.
• Use a soft and damp cloth to clean the outdoor sensor.
• Do not press too hard on the display, this may cause scratch marks or the display to
malfunction; furthermore, the display might break.
• Dust can be easily removed using a clean, long-haired brush and a vacuum cleaner.
