14. Troubleshooting
This weather station is built using the latest technology, but problems and malfunctions may still occur. The following
section shows you how to troubleshoot a range of possible issues.
Problem
Possible cause
Solution
No signal is received from the
outdoor sensor
The weather station and the
outdoor sensor are too far apart.
Objects or coated materials
(e.g. double-glazed windows or
reinforced concrete) are affecting
reception. The weather station is
too close to other electronic devices
(e.g. TVs or computers).
Another device is transmitting
signals on a similar frequency.
Change the location of the weather
station and/or outdoor sensor. Try
moving the weather station closer
to the outdoor sensor.
Press and hold the
LIGHT/SNOOZE
button (1) for
5 seconds to search for a signal
manually.
The outdoor sensor is not working
(the LED indicator (K) does not
flash every 16 seconds).
The solar cell does not work/the
capacitor is empty and no batteries
are inserted. The batteries in the
outdoor sensor are empty.
Replace the batteries. For more
information, refer to "c) Inserting
the batteries into the outdoor
sensor" in section 10 ("Operation").
The time is not set automatically.
The weather station is not
connected to the Internet.
Install the WS TOOL app on your
smartphone and connect the
weather station to your wireless
router.
If necessary, set the time manually.
