n) Display Atmospheric Pressure Readings
The weather station can display absolute and relative atmospheric pressure readings.
• Press the
BARO
button
(10)
on the back of the weather station for two seconds. “abs” or “rel”
flashes in the centre right of the display.
“abs” indicates absolute atmospheric
pressure.
“rel” indicates relative atmospheric
pressure.
• Press the
or
button
(5)
or
(4)
to select absolute atmospheric pressure
(“abs”) or relative atmospheric pressure (“rel”) readings, then press the BARO button
(10)
to confirm.
o) Adjust Relative Atmospheric Pressure Values
The relative atmospheric pressure is the atmospheric pressure which is calculated based on
the sea level. The default relative atmospheric pressure values on the weather station are
1013 mb/hPa (29.91 inHg).
If you change the relative atmospheric pressure values, the weather forecast indicator
on the weather station will change accordingly.
• Obtain the atmospheric pressure data of the sea level (which is also the relative atmospheric
pressure data of your home area) through the local weather service, internet or other
weather channels.
If there is a big difference between the obtained data and the relative pressure data
displayed on the weather station, adjust the relative atmospheric pressure values on the
weather station.
• Press and hold the
button
(10)
on the back of the weather station for two seconds.
“abs” or “rel” flashes in the centre right of the display.
• Press the
or
button
(5)
or
(4)
to select “rel” (relative pressure), then press
the
button
(10)
to confirm. The atmospheric pressure values flash.
• Press the
or
button
(5)
or
(4)
to adjust the values to match the obtained
pressure data. Then press the
button
(10)
to confirm. The new relative atmospheric
pressure values are now set.
The relative atmospheric pressure values will reflect actual absolute atmospheric
pressure changes after one hour.
