9. Connecting the power adapter
• Connect the DC plug of the power supply cord to the DC jack on the back of the product.
• Connect the mains plug to a standard mains socket.
All display segments will appear for a short moment. After about 10 seconds, the product will begin searching
for the DCF time signal.
10. DCF signal reception
• The first reception attempt for the DCF signal takes place directly after the product is connected to the power
supply.
• The reception icon flashes during the search.
• The reception icon remains lit when reception is successful. The display shows the current time and the
current date.
• The reception icon goes out if the search for the DCF signal fails.
• The signal strength is indicated in different levels.

• You can begin or stop the search for the DCF signal manually at any time by pressing the RECEIVE button.
• You can enable or disable automatic radio clock reception by pressing and holding the RECEIVE button for
8 seconds.
