7.7 Opening/closing the roof light
The roof light can be opened on one side to a maximum
angle of 70°.
Opening
1. Grip the middle of the transverse bar (Fig. 17, item 1)
with one hand and pull downward.
2. Hold the transverse rod (Fig. 17, item 1) pulled down
and slide the roof light until it has reached the desired
opening angle.
3. Let go of the transverse rod (Fig. 17, item 1).
The standout mechanism engages with the notched
bar (Fig. 17, item 3) and the skylight dome remains at
that angle.
Closing
1. Gripping the middle of the transverse rod with one
hand, pull downward.
2. With the transverse rod (Fig. 17, item 1) pulled down-
ward, push the roof light in the opposite direction until
it is completely closed.
3. Let go of the transverse rod (Fig. 17, item 1).
When the end position is reached, the stop hooks
(Fig. 17, item 2) will automatically lock the skylight
dome.
