18.2.1 Cleaning plastic parts on the outside of the vehicle

Products made of plastic and/or GRP products can be cleaned gently using warm water with the addition of a weak
acidic, neutral or weak alkaline cleaner.
)
You can use low concentrations (< 2 %) of mild household cleaners dissolved in water.
)
Abrasive agents such as scouring powder are not recommended as these will scratch plastic surfaces.
)
Very greasy or oily surfaces can be washed down with petroleum substances free from aromatic compounds such as
ethanol. The use of organic solvents can damage the material.
)
Plastic mouldings can be damaged by stress cracks caused by a variety of products. Other chemicals may cause the
plastic to swell and soften. Therefore, these plastic mouldings should only be subjected to contact with the solvents
referred to above for a short period of time (maximum of 2 minutes) at room temperature.
18.3 Cleaning and care of the vehicle interior

Use only standard household cleaning and care products.

Caustic and abrasive products should not be used.
)
Avoid using anything that might scratch or score surfaces.
)
The bathroom cubicle should only be cleaned with a little water containing a mild cleaner and a damp
cloth!
)
Never lay the carpet onto wet PVC floor covering as the carpet can stick to the PVC and pull the covering
with it when the carpet is next taken up!
NOTE!
Care instructions for the mirror in the bathroom cubicle

Remove stains that occur during daily use (e.g. water droplets, toothpaste stains) with a soft cloth or
with your towel after drying your hands.
)
Remove stubborn stains (e.g. cosmetics residues) carefully with a slightly moistened microfibre cloth or
a chamois leather cloth.
)
If possible, clean the mirror without water and cleaning agents to ensure that no moisture or chemicals
can penetrate the mirror coating.
)
The furniture is only to be cleaned with a commercially available furniture polish. Strong cleaning products should
not be used.
)
The kitchen sink is made from stainless steel and can be cleaned with standard household products.
)
Use only water with washing-up liquid or a mild household cleaner to clean the table tops and kitchen worktops.
)
Dry clean upholstery covers, main curtains and the net curtains.
)
The PVC floor covering is hard-wearing and easy-care. To clean it, just wet-mop and rub dry; do not use wax.
)
Never use abrasives or aggressive cleaners.
