• Repair and servicing work which are not described in this manual should always be
carried by our service center. Use only original parts.
• The appliance must always be kept clean, dry and free from oil or grease.
• Use a soft, a slightly moist cloth to clean the appliance.
• Always clean the appliance after completion of work.
• Remove debris carefully from the blade after each use.
• Never permit any liquids to enter inside the appliance. Never use petrol, solvents or
cleansers which can damage the plastic.
• Before and after each use, check the hedge trimmer and the accessories for wear and
damage. If required, exchange them for new ones. And allow the hedge trimmer to cool
down before carrying out an inspection, setting etc.
• If the battery is to be stored for an extended period, the charge level should be checked
regularly. The optimum charge level is between 50% and 80%. The optimum storage
environment is cool and dry.
