6.3 REMOVING THE PACKING
It is advisable to keep the unit on its pallet and with the plastic wrap prior to installation.
6.3.1 ANTI-VIBRATION MOUNTS
The use of anti-vibration mounts and M8 threaded rods is
suggested during installation phase, as shown in the picture.
6.3.2 MOUNTING THE EDS UNITS
For the ceiling mounting of the unit, use a forklift in order to assure correct and safe
positioning during the fixing operations. Enclosure 2 shows the dimensions for the fixing
and connection of the unit to the system.
6.4 WATER CONNECTIONS
For the hydraulic connections of the EDS ducted units, use only suitable material
and follow the prescriptions of the system (project and rules of the Country of
installation).
Hydraulic standard connections of the units are on the right side (as viewed from the front
when the unit has been installed). It is possible to order the unit with left water connections.

in Enclosures 2/A
Piping path has to be defined in order not to interfere with the removal of the metal cover
panels on the bottom side of the unit. To facilitate installation and maintenance, we recom-
mend that manual shut-off valves are installed on the intake and outlet pipes, and that a
mechanical «Y» filter is interposed between the valve and the inlet of the heat exchanger, in
order to prevent the clogging of the heat exchanger.
