Eumig P8 Zoom
Your EUMIG P 8 ZOOM can only be operated on alternating current.
Before connecting it up to the plug, please check whether the
voltage
available corresponds with the voltage adapted to the Projector. The
setting of the projector is visible at the back when closed (see Fig. 2,
item
A
). To alter the setting, open the Projector and pull out the plug
marked “volt” (Fig. 3), replacing it so that when the Projector is closed
the correct voltage can be read off the outside.
The safety-fuse
C
(Fig. 3) is designed to protect the machine should the
wrong voltage be selected. To exchange this fuse, the plastic cap should
be removed in an upward direction. A revserve fuse is enclosed with the
projector.
Inserting Lamp and Erecting Spool Arms
The projector lamp is of low-voltage type operating at 12 volts with two-
pin bayonet cap. Should it become necessary to change the lamp, this
can be done by a slight twist. The new Tamp is inserted by a slight
downward pressure and a clockwise twist. Fig. 4 shows the Projector
closed with spool arms folded away. When the locking screw
A
is
unscrewed one side of the Projector hinges open. Figure 3 shows how
the spool arms are swung into position. Note that the front or feed spool
arm must be lifted slightly before it can be swung upwards. The side of
the projector is then closed again and secured by tightening screw
B
(Fig. 3).
Attention! If after projection te spool arms are to be closed again, care must be
taken that the small spring tongues on the spool axles are turned down, so that the
Projector may be closed without any use of force.
