1. CHANGING OIL
Drain the oil while the engine is still warm (helps drain the oil faster).
CAUTION: Make sure to turn the engine switch and the fuel cap lever to the OFF position
before draining.
●
Loosen the cover screw and remove the left side maintenance cover.
●
Remove the oil filler cap.
●
Drain old engine oil into a container thoroughly.
●
Refill the crankcase with the recommended amount of oil; check the oil level before attempting
to start the engine.
●
Reinstall the left side maintenance cover and tighten the cover screw securely.

2. AIR CLEANER SERVICE
A dirty air cleaner will restrict air flowing into the carburetor. To prevent carburetor malfunction,
service the air cleaner regularly. Service more frequently when operating the generator in
