8. Remove both cables from the ES922.1.
9. Store the ES922.1 in accordance with the ESD specifications.
6.2.2
Fitting the front panel of the ES910.3-A extension slot
Fit the front panel of the ES910.3-A extension slot:
1. Position the front panel in front of the extension slot on the
ES910.3-A module.
When doing so, align the rear of the front panel with the front
of the ES910.3-A housing.
2. Screw the front panel in place using the screws that secured
the ES922.1.
3. Screw these four screws into the front panel of the ES910.3-A
module.
ES910.3-A and the front panel are now mechanically con
-
nected.

Configuring the ES922.1
6.3.1
Configuring in the application software
The CAN interfaces of the ES922.1 module can be configured independently of
each other in the application software:
• CAN FD
– ISO-compliant CAN FD
– Non-ISO-compliant CAN FD
• CAN
The selection of the CAN High-Speed or CAN Low-Speed operating modes and
the activation of the "Wake-Up" function are available in the ES910.3-A web
interface.
6.3.2
Configuring in the Web interface
The ES910.3-A web interface consists of a home page and pages for custom
-
ized configuration of the ES910.3-A module, as well as of the module in the
extension slot (e.g. ES922.1).
CAUTION
Risk of damaging the ES910.3-A module.
The ES910.3-A module must not be stood on its rear when fitting the front
panel.
The fastening screws for the extension slot must not fall into the module.
