Wiring
The ports may be wired in any order. Special connecting cables are available
and can be ordered separately. An overview is contained in the chapter “Cables
and Accessories” on page 83.
6.6.1
“Sensor” Port
You can use different cables to connect the sensors to the ES411.1:
• CBAV411.1 sensor cable
You can adapt the open connection of the CBAV411.1 sensor cable your

self to suit the specific connector system of your test set-up.
• CBAV400.1 sensor cable
If you have swapped modules with BNC wiring for ES411.1 modules in
your test set-up, this adapter cable allows you to continue to use the wir
-
ing you have used to date for your test set-up.
• CBAV412.1 sensor cable
If you have swapped csm AD-Scan mini modules for ES411.1 modules in
your test set-up, this adapter cable allows you to continue to use the wir
-
ing you have used to date for your test set-up.
• CBAV417.1 sensor cable
To wire the ES411.1 with the sensors
1. If there is a protective cap at the "Sensor" port, remove it.
2. Connect the sensor cable to the “Sensor” port of the ES411.1.
3. Connect the sensors and transducers to the ports of the sen
-
sor cables of the ES411.1.
4. For your application program, jot down the assignment of the
sensors to the inputs of the ES411.1 in accordance with the
wiring of the test set-up.
6.6.2
Daisy Chain Ports (“IN”, “OUT”)
Wiring goes from the first module towards the end of the module chain.
To wire the first module with the following module
1. Connect an Ethernet cable to the “OUT” port of the first mod
-
ule.
2. Connect the Ethernet cable to the “IN” port of the next module.
or
- If two modules are connected mechanically, connect their
adjacent “IN” and “OUT” ports to the ES4xx_BRIDGE.
