Installation and Configuration with NT 4.0
This chapter describes the installation of network adapter cards and the con-
figuration of the TCP/IP protocol for Windows NT 4.0.
If a network card already installed is to be replaced by a new one, you must
remove the old card first.
4.1
Removing a Network Adapter Card
To remove a network adapter card, proceed as follows:
1. Choose
Start
→
Settings
→
Control Panel
.
2. Double-click
Network
.
3. In the
Network
properties dialog box, select the
adapter you want to remove and click
Remove.
note
You must have administrator privileges to install under Windows NT 4.0.
