Temperature and type of hair
Low temperature (160 – 180 °C) – for fine, bleached or damaged hair,
Medium temperature (180 – 200 °C) – for normal and wavy hair,
High temperature (200 – 220 °C) – for strong, rough and curly hair.
Signal lights with the relevant symbol – indicator flashing - heat up,
– indicator on steadily - temperature reached,
– water steam generation activated.
III. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Remove all the packing material and take out the hair straightener. Put the hair
straightener on suitable even surface (see par. I. SAFETY SHEET ).
Using With Steam
1. Remove the container B from the appliance A in accordance with Fig. 2.
2. Remove the water container cap from the tank B . Fill the container B with cold
clean drinking or distilled water (7.5 ml). Put the cap in place.
3. Place the container B on the appliance A in a reverse way. Check that the
reservoir is properly positioned and closed. Check that your hands and the outside
of the reservoir are dried well.
4. Connect the plug A8 to the power supply.
5. Press button A1 . The tongs start to heat to the preset temperature 160 °C (about
2 min).
6. If you wish to change the temperature, set the required temperature by
temperature regulator A2 (in the range of 160 – 220 °C) according to the type of
hair. Wait for a while until plates A5 are heated to the set temperature. Then the
temperature will be kept automatically.
7. Press button A3 the steam function on.
8. Close the hair straightener by pressing the plates towards each other to start water
steam generation. As soon as you release the plates again, the steam generation
will stop.
9. Switch off the appliance after use by pressing button A1 , then take power supply
fork A8 out of the electric socket and let the appliance cool down before storing.
Using without steam
The straightener can also be used without steam, all you need to do is slide the switch
into the ‘no steam’ position or use it with an empty container.
Notes
–
Ends of the appliance in the closed position are not designed to be hand-held!
– So be extra careful to avoid burning injuries.
– As soon as the water level drops below the operating minimum, the appliance
automatically stops the production of vapour.
– The maximum volume (7.5 ml) of the container provides operation for about 20
minutes.
– If you do not use the appliance for more than one day, pour out the unused
water from th e container .
