The garment steamer is easy to use. It is ideal for achieving a natural look and for quick
touch-ups = crease / fold removal from your garments. Furthermore, it can rid the garments
of undesired odour and dirt and freshen up soft furnishings (e.g.
curtains, net curtains,
blankets, upholstery, bed linen
).
1) Check that there is enough space behind the fabric for air circulation (
otherwise, it
would cause moisture
) and that no objects sensitive to heat and moisture are present
in the immediate vicinity which might get damaged by the steam.
2) Check that the garment pockets are empty and sleeves, cuffs and hems point downwards.
3) If the garment features any metal accessories (e.g.
zips, buttons, etc.
), be careful and
do not use the steamer directly over the metal as it would change the colour of the metal
or cause corrosion.
– Depending on the type, thickness and creasing of the fabric, select either the gentle
steaming or intensive steaming mode. For thick or very creased fabrics, we recommend
a longer time of steaming to allow penetration of a larger quantity of steam. However, be
careful so as not to apply steam unnecessarily to the same place for a long time to avoid
damaging the garment.
– When using the steamer without the brush, keep a distance of
at least 5 cm
between the
soleplate and the garment.
– For an optimum result, hang the garment on a hanger.
– When using the steamer, never point it at yourselves and keep it in an upright position.
Bring the soleplate
A3
close to the garment, while pulling the sides of the garment with
the other hand.
