–
Do not use the appliance in an environment saturated with explosive or flammable steams.
–
The steam line (i.e. openings), which forms a part of the lid and which enables steam
to escape, must always be kept clean. At the same time, regularly check its condition
to make sure it is not blocked (e.g. by food remains), worn out or damaged.
–
While cooking, hot steam is coming out of the openings and the lid surface is hot.
–
While cooking, do not touch places where hot steam is coming out as it may cause burns
or scalding.
–
When handling the hot pot and lid, use protective kitchen gloves or a kitchen towel.
–
Do not leave any objects (e.g.
protective gloves, kitchen towels
) on the lid when the
appliance is in operation as they could cover the steam escape openings.
–
The inspection window in the lid is made of tempered glass. Prevent the glass surface
to get scratched.
–
Be careful when lifting the lid and always remove it in the direction away from yourself.
–
Do not carry the appliance when it is hot. If by chance it were tipped over, there
would be a danger of a burn or scalding injury.
–
Use handles for carrying the appliance!
–
The appliance is portable and it is fitted with a flexible power cord with a plug, which
ensures a bipolar disconnection from power supply.
–
The power cord must not be damaged by sharp or hot objects, or by an open flame, and
it must not be immersed in water.
–
Never put the power cord on hot surfaces and do not leave it hanging over the edge of
a table or worktop. If the cord is brushed against or pulled e.g. by children, the appliance
may tip over or be pulled down and it could lead to serious injuries!
–
If it is necessary to the use an extension cord, then it must not be damaged and it must
be in compliance with the relevant standards in force.
–
Always turn off and disconnect the appliance from the mains when you have finished
working with it by pulling the power cord out of the power socket.
–
Allow the appliance to cool down prior to its maintenance or storage.
–
Use the appliance only for the purpose it is intended for, pursuant to these instructions for
use. Never use the appliance for any other purpose.
