14.7. Access Point settings
Here you can change the WiFi-settings like the network name or the pass-
word, for example to be abled to use two CabControls within one WiFi ran-
ge.

15. Software update
Due to ongoing development your CabControl ICU and Mobile Control II
hand set will need a software update from time to time.
15.1. Mobile Control II Update
In many instances the Mobile Control II will only be directly connected to
the ESU CabControl ICU and therefore cannot be updated automatically.
Should this be the case you can download the latest firmware version from
the Download section of the ESU website.

First install the update software on your PC. It may be necessary to download
and install certain Micorsoft.Net components from the Microsoft website. In
this instance the installation will take a bit more time. After the installation
has been completed you can start the software, which will search for a Mo-
bile Control II at a USB port.

Now connect the meanwhile active Mobile Control II with a USB port of your
computer. The device must be detected automatically. The software offers
the update of both Apps automatically, which are provided by ESU for the
Mobile Control II.
• The actual “Mobile Control II” App
• The ESU background process for controlling the throttle knob, known as
the “ESU Input Services“.
Click onto “Start update” in order to commence the update.
