Assembly (Cont.)
Step 2: front fender (mudguard) assembly
1. Attach the fender hanger on the fork crown, using a tool to tighten the screw
from the front (washer against the bike part) (Fig. 5).
2. Adjust the fender position to ensure there is an equal distance between each
fork tube. Tighten the screws at each fork tube (Fig. 6).
NOTE:
If the fender is touching the tyre, please loosen the bolt slightly.

Step 3: front brake adjustment
The front V-brakes have been pre-installed at the factory and require adjustment
after the front wheel and fender have been assembled.
1. Using a 5mm Allen wrench, loosen the cable fixing bolt and adjust the cable
tension in each brake arm so that
both sides are equally and properly
tensioned.
2. After ensuring that the total
clearance between both brake pads
and the rim is 2–3mm, tighten the
cable fixing bolt (Fig. 7).
NOTE:
As per the Australian/New
Zealand standard, the left brake
lever controls the rear brake and the
right brake lever controls front brake,
therefore please use both brakes when
braking. The electric system will be cut
off automatically when braking.
