V.1.0
use
7.
Slowly move the clippers, making sure that the teeth on the guide comb are flat against
the scalp (see Figures 1, 2 and 3 below).
8.
If you need to adjust the length of the cut, first unlock the trimmer head by pushing the
lock button located on the back of the clippers to the "unlocked" position
, then
change the length setting using the adjustment dial(4). Lock the trimmer head back into
place by pushing the lock button into the "locked" position
.
Advice for use
•
The hair should always be cut by moving the clippers in the opposite direction to the
hair's natural growth. For the back, start from the nape of the neck and move up towards
the top of the head (figure 1); for the sides, move up from the ears towards the top of the
head (figure 2); and for the top of the head, start from the forehead and move towards the
back of the head (figure 3).
•
It is a good idea to regularly style the hair to check the uniformity of the cut and to move
the hair back into place. For the same reason, once the hair has been cut and styled,
move the clippers over the same area several times to clip any hair that might have
escaped the first time. If necessary, you can go back over problem areas.
•
For best results with curly, wispy or long hair, use the comb provided (10) to guide the hair
towards the device.
From time to time, use the cleaning brush supplied to clean the device. If too much
hair accumulates in the trimmer head, remove and empty the head (see paragraph on
"preliminary cleaning").
