“ECO” mode
The heater automatically adjusts the heating power as follows:
•
When room temperature is below 18°C, the heater runs on high power.
•
When room temperature is 18°C to 22°C, the heater runs on medium power.
•
When room temperature is above 22°C, the appliance stops heating.
•
Press the “
ECO
” button to activate/deactivate the “ECO” mode.
•
You cannot change the temperature setting when the “ECO”mode is activated.
When you have finished
1.
When you have finished, press the
button to put the appliance on standby.
2.
Set the “I/0” on/off switch to position “0” (off) and unplug the appliance from the power
socket.

IMPORTANT:
•
Always unplug the power cord from the power
socket and allow the appliance to cool down before
cleaning or maintaining it.
•
Never immerse the plug, power cable or appliance
in water or any other liquid.
•
Never use abrasive cleaning products (alcohol,
solvent) or aerosol products on this appliance.
•
Use a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and clean the exterior surfaces of the appliance.
•
For thorough cleaning, you can use a soft cloth lightly soaked in water and a mild detergent
(such as washing up liquid). Then dry thoroughly with a soft cloth before turning the
appliance back on.
•
Make sure no water ever enters the appliance through the air vents.
•
A dusty grille can cause the appliance to overheat. If dust accumulates on the ventilation
grilles, use a vacuum cleaner to remove it.
•
If you do not use the appliance for a long period of time, unplug it from the power socket.

The heater is not
working.
The appliance is unplugged.
Plug the appliance into a
mains socket.
The “I/0” on/off switch at the
rear is in position “0” (off).
Set the on/off switch to
position “I” (power on).
The appliance is in standby
mode.
Press the
button to turn
on the appliance.
The appliance does not
produce any heat.
When room temperature
reaches the requested
temperature, the heater
stops heating. When room
temperature drops, the heater
starts heating again.
However, you can increase
the requested temperature
using the “+” button.
The
“ECO
” modeis selected.
Deactivate the “
ECO
” mode
by pressing the “ECO”
button.
The appliance suddenly
stops working.
The appliance is overheating.
A piece of clothing covers the
heater or dust obstructs the
ventilation grilles.
Remove the piece of clothing
obstructing ventilation and/
or use a vacuum cleaner
to remove dust from the
ventilation grilles.
Turn off and unplug the
appliance, allow it to cool
down for a while before using
it again.
The appliance has tipped
over.
The anti-tilt safety device has
been activated. Put the heater
back up.
CAUTION: do not attempt to repair the appliance
yourself. If the problem persists, contact your retail
store’s customer service department.
