Disc type indicator
Indicates the disc type of loaded disc (Super Audio CD or CD).
REPEAT indicator
Lights when repeat play is selected.
Message area
Alphanumeric display that shows playback time, status
messages, etc.
DOWN MIX indicator
Lights to show that a multi-channel source has been
downmixed.
MULTI indicator
Lights when the audio output setting is set to ”Multi ch”.
Channel indicators
Light to show which surround channels are currently in use.
i.LINK indicator
Lights when the i.LINK output is set to ”ON”.

POWER
Turn power on and off. The ring surrounding the button
lights when the unit is on.

OPEN/CLOSE
Press to open or close the disc tray.

Use these buttons to skip forward or backward. Hold down
the buttons 1 second or more to change scanning speed.

Remote control sensor
Receives signals from the remote control unit. Point the
