5.4.9 – Rechargeable Batteries
If the REDi has been fitted with rechargeable batteries, you can tick the
‘Rechargeable Batteries Fitted’ tick box. Please make sure that this box is not
ticked if you are working with disposable batteries.
Important: Charging disposable batteries may cause those batteries to explode.
Never try to charge batteries unless they are clearly marked as re-chargeable.
5.4.10 – Delete Data
The REDi configuration offers you to delete all the data blocks that are currently
stored in your REDi unit. Before you tick this option, make sure that the logger
data currently in the memory is no longer used or has been downloaded to a PC
and saved.
If you select the tick box next to ‘Delete’ all the data blocks from within the REDi’,
the whole memory will be reset, and all logger data is deleted. This action cannot
be reversed!
5.4.11 - Summary
After selecting the ‘Next’ button on the Configuration screen, you see the
summary screen. If you wish to make further adjustments to your configuration,
you can still go ‘Back’. Once you click ‚Next’, the new configuration will be loaded
into your REDi. Please make sure that the communication with the REDi is not
interrupted during this process. Wait until the Finish button becomes active
before you close down the Configuration wizard or disconnect the REDi.
