3. MyLab Overview
MyLabOmegaVET
is a professional, innovative and versatile real-time high-
resolution ultrasound scanner. The wide range of probes makes it suitable for
many clinical applications.
About MyLab
Intended Use
MyLabOmegaVET
is intended to perform images of the internal structure of the
animal’s body that, when interpreted by a medical expert trained in the use of
ultrasound equipment, can provide diagnostically useful information for
various typologies of species and the related applications, including:

Cardiac: for canine, feline, equine, bovine and other species;
x
Abdominal: for canine, feline, equine, bovine and other
species;
x
Reproductive: for canine, feline, equine, bovine and other
species;
x
Musculo-Skeletal: Musculo-Skeletal exams, including equine
tendon.
The equipment provides imaging for guidance of biopsy and imaging to assist
in the placement of needles and catheters in vascular, or other anatomical
structures, as well as peripheral nerve blocks in Musculoskeletal applications.
The ultrasonic medical diagnostic equipment is intended to be connected to
mechanical and electronic ultrasound probes (convex array, linear array and
phased array) and Doppler probes.
