Wireless safety
MyLab
is equipped with built-in wireless capability.
If the equipment is not installed and used in accordance with the instructions,
the equipment may cause harmful interference to radio communications.
NOTE
The wireless capability has to be considered as an intentional RF (Radio
Frequency) transmitter as indicated by the symbol:
When the wireless is active,
MyLab
might interfere with other equipment.
When wireless is active, the following safety precautions should be observed:

Maintain a minimum distance of 20 cm (8 inches) or more
from the antennas of the equipment and the body of patient
and operators. If a shorter distance is needed to work,
temporarily switch the wireless device off.

Use in specific environments:
the use of wireless devices in hospitals is restricted to the
limits set forth by each hospital.
the use of wireless devices in hazardous locations is
limited by the constraints posed by the safety directive of
such environments.
