2 INTRODUCTION
WeldCloud™ Mobile enables two-way communication between the welding power source
and a remote WeldCloud™ server, either through Wi-Fi, Wired LAN or 3G. The
WeldCloud™ Mobile incorporates a GPS functionality to track the location of the welding
power source. There is also a Bluetooth interface to enable connection to a Bluetooth
device, for example a Bluetooth enabled bar code scanner.
WeldCloud™ Mobile can be used with power sources that are fitted with a W8

control unit
or a PEK control panel.
2.1 Equipment
WeldCloud™ Mobile is supplied with:
• An instruction manual
• A control cable for connection to a W8
2
control unit or to a PEK control panel
• Two Ethernet cables for connection to LAN and W8
2
control unit or PEK control panel
