Waist-Belt Adjustment:

Put the belt around your waist and fasten the two ends together.
If the belt is too loose, slide the male adjuster down the belt, towards the female half. If the belt is too
tight. slide the male adjuster away from the female half.
Repeat the above processes until a comfortable and secure fit is achieved. (See Picture 1)
Once the belt fits correctly, secure any excess belt material using the Velcro sections.

Particulate Filter:

Use only Origo™Air filters as supplied by ESAB. (See Picture 3).
It should first be ascertained by consulting an occupational hygienist or by calling the manufacturers
technical help line as to whether or not the Origo™Air Filter will offer suitable protection from the
hazard.

Removing the Filter:

Push the Filter-Housing down towards the body of the Blower Unit and apply a twisting force in a
Clock-Wise Direction (See Picture 4) It will now be possible to pull the filter away from the Unit.

Fitting the Filters

:

First Check the filter for any signs of damage. In particular check for any signs of damage to the foam
seal on the base of the filter – it is essential that there is no visible damage or indentations in the seal
that could potentially let contaminated air through. If there are any signs of damage at all discard the
filter. Only undamaged filters should be used in the Origo™Air.
Then place the undamaged filter onto the blower unit aligning the red arrow on the filter with the arrow
in the top left hand corner of the blower  - with a light twisting action,  the filter will then engage on the
4 retention lugs (See Picture 5). It is essential that the filter is mounted correctly for the Origo™Air unit
to function. Then force the filter down towards the blower unit and apply a twisting force in an anti-
clockwise direction (See Picture 6) until the filter locks.
