How to set the time and the calendar
In order to set the time the adjustment knob can be turned forwards and backwards. The date
can only be adjusted clockwise. The clock should be set so that the date display always change
at night.
Caution:
To prevent damage the manual adjustment of the date should not be operated
during the period from 10pm to 2am!
How to set the moon phase
The moon phase can be adjusted gradually with the help of the lower knob on the back in
both directions. The clock should be set so that the moon phase display always change during
the day. (You will find the moon phases at page 34.)
Caution:
To prevent damage ,the manual adjustment of the moon phase should not be operated
during the period from 10am to 2pm.
How to adjust the clockwork
Your clock has been exactly adjusted in our workshop. Should you however notice a great
deviation of your clock in the course of one week, please consult your clockmaker. He will then
readjust your clock with the necessary care.

Where to place the clock
Choose for your clock a place without direct insolation. Please unpack the clock
carefully (keep the packing material for possible transports of the clock) and put it on its
predetermined place. To protect the surface of your clock, operate and move the clock please
only with the enclosed gloves.
How to set the clock in motion
Use the included winding key (located in the drawer in the base) and attach it on the winding
square at the back of the clock. Wind it up carefully clockwise to the stop, until the up-and-
down hand points to the 15th day.
