WARNINGS FOR INSTALLATION
WARNING
: Important safety instructions. Follow all
instructions, as improper installation can result in serious
injury.
A means of disconnection must be fitted for the fixed
installation, with a contact separation in all poles that allows
complete disconnection under overvoltage category III, in
accordance with installation regulations. Its specific
characteristics (rated current, voltage, etc.) must be suitable
for the installation and the elements used.
A differential switch with a threshold of 0.03A must be
installed.
Before installing the operator, check that the actuated part is
in good mechanical condition, that it is correctly balanced,
and that it opens and closes correctly.
The control element of a hold-down switch must be placed in
direct view of the actuated part but away from moving parts.
Unless operated with a key, it must be installed at a minimum
height of 1.5 m and inaccessible to the public.
It must be installed by qualified technicians, in line with
current safety regulations.
The manufacturer shall not be liable for any damage or harm
to people, animals, goods or property resulting from failure
to follow the assembly instructions. The warranty for material
defects is void in these cases.
Contact a specialist engineer if the operator's power cable
needs replacing.
Do not pierce the operator tube or insert any screws.
Do not allow the operator to become wet.
Ensure the operator is not banged, crushed or dropped.
Keep the operator away from flames and heat sources.
For manual operation, the operator must be installed at a
height of less than 1.8 m.
Before installing, remove all unnecessary cables and disable
any equipment that is not necessary for start-up.
When installing curtains, maintain a minimum horizontal
distance of 0.4 m between the fully rolled out moving part
and any fixed object.
The power cable must not be exposed to direct sun or rain.
The operator chosen must be suitable for the load to be
moved (neither higher nor lower).
The moving parts must be installed at a height of over 2.5 m
from the ground or any other level that allows access. If this
is not the case, moving parts must be protected with a
suitable cover to prevent unintentional access.
Fixed controls must be installed in a visible position.
The control devices must be exclusively hold-down push-
buttons (i.e. must be pressed down throughout the
operation).
Do not connect several operators to the same control device.
Do not connect several control devices to the same operator.
Do not disassemble or modify the operator unless indicated
in these instructions.
