MD Evolution – Cordless DT590

SMS Text Messages (optional)

You can send and receive messages, also known as SMS (Short

Message Service), to and from other phones in your system.

Note :

Text messages can only be received and sent if the

Ericsson Integrated Messaging Server is installed in your

system. Please contact your system administrator.

Receive text messages (SMS)

When a text message is received, the LED starts flashing and a

message tone sounds.
If the message is received during a call, a beep notifies the user.
The message is stored in the message list. The “New message”

icon is shown in the display. The icon will remain in the display until

all new messages are opened.

Press.

Select the “Message” tab.

The following options are available :

Voice

Inbox

•

Send

Select the menu item “Inbox” and confirm.

The message list is displayed.

Scroll to find the message.

The selected message is highlighted.

Press to read the message.

The message text is displayed followed by “Proceed?”.
