Edit a Hot key
Enter “Hot Key” and scroll until “Edit” is displayed, press
OK. “Hot key 0” is displayed. Select an empty key position by
scrolling to the corresponding number; press OK. Choose to
program the Hot key with a “Phone number”, “Function” or
“Not used”. Confirm your choice with OK. Enter the phone
number or one of the functions in the function list; press OK.
Use the Hot key
Press and hold the Hot Key and the pre-programmed function
will be activated.
Change the ring signal volume/melody or ring speed;
and activate vibrator
(vibrator is an option)
Enter “Alerting” and Scroll until “Ringing
vol.”/”Melody”/”Ring speed” or ”Trembler” is displayed; press
OK. Choose which setting you prefer and confirm with OK.
Lock the cordless phone Manually or Automatically
First, lock code has to be set: Enter “Settings” then “Phone
Lock”. Then choose “Set Lock code” and enter a 4-character
code. Press OK. For manual lock of the cordless phone, enter
“Settings”, “Phone Lock” and then “Lock phone”. Press OK
after each. The cordless phone can also be set to lock automa-
tically after 20 seconds. For automatic lock, enter “Settings”
and scroll until “Automatic key lock” is displayed; press OK.
Automatic lock is activated after 20 seconds.
Choosing language on display
Enter “Settings” and scroll with the Scroll Key until
“Language” is displayed; press OK. Scroll until the desired
language appears. Press OK.
Alarm Functions
Personal alarm
Press the red Alarm button twice within 2 seconds. “Personal
alarm” is displayed.
Test alarm
Hold the red Alarm button until “Test alarm” is displayed.
No-movement alarm
The “A” icon indicates that No-movement alarm is operatio-
nal. The alarm is activated when the user has not moved wit-
hin 30 seconds. A warning signal sounds for 5 seconds before
the alarm is activated and the “A” icon starts to blink.
To cancel the alarm, move the telephone or press any key. If
the alarm has not been reset during the warning signal, the
alarm is sent. “Non-movement” is displayed.
Disconnect/connect the No-movement alarm
A Hot key has to be reserved for this function. For Hot-key
programming see: “Edit a Hot-key”.
Functions settings
Use the Display Menu as a guide through the functions
Dial a name in the phone book
Enter the menu mode and scroll to “Phone book”. Press OK;
scroll until “Find” is displayed. Enter the first letter in the
name you are looking for or the whole name. Press OK. Scroll
to find the desired name; press the Call-key.
Add a new entry to the phone book
Enter the “Phone book”; scroll until “Add” is displayed; Press
OK. “Name:” is displayed, enter the name and press OK. The
text “Number” appears, enter the number and confirm with
OK.
Delete/Edit names and numbers in the Phonebook
Enter the “Phone book”. Scroll until ”Delete”/”Edit” is dis-
played. Press OK, “Find:” is displayed. Enter the name you
want to Delete/Edit. Press OK. The entry is deleted or you
will enter edit mode. In edit mode, use the C-key to erase and
OK to confirm new settings.
