160W DETAIL SANDER

5. Sanding

Always hold the sander as shown in fig 4.

Move the sander in long, sweeping strokes across

the sanding surface. Light pressure is all that is

needed for sanding, polishing and scrubbing. Let

the sander do the work. Check your work often.

This sander removes material quickly (See fig 5).

Note:

  Applying  excessive  pressure  will  slow

down  the  sander  and  produce  unsatisfactory

results.

7. Selecting the right sander paper

Selecting  the  correct  grit  of  sander  paper  is  an

extremely important decision that will allow you

to achieve the best quality sanding finish.

Coarse grit will remove most material and finer

grit  will  give  you  the  best  finish  in  all  sanding

operations. The  grit  which  will  be  choosed  to

do the job is determined by the condition of the

surface.

If the surface is rough:

Start with coarse grit (sold separately) and sand

until the surface is uniform. Then use medium to

remove any scratches left by the coarse grit. Then

use  finer  grit  (sold  separately)  for  finishing  the

surface.

Note:

Always  continues  sanding  with  each  grit

until the surface is uniform.

Using the polishing and scrubbing pads

This tool is also ideal for cleaning, polishing and

removing rust with the polishing and scrubbing

pads (sold separately).

MAINTENANCE

Your power tool requires no additional lubrication

or  maintenance. There  are  no  user  serviceable

parts in your power tool.

Never  use  water  or  chemical  cleaners  to  clean

your power tool. Wipe clean with a dry cloth.
