Dust extraction (Fig. F, G, H, I, J)

The product can be used with an external dust extraction device or the dust collection 

box (11).

External dust extraction device

1.  Attach a proper dust extraction device, e.g. a suitable vacuum cleaner attachment 

(Ø35mm) to the dust extraction adaptor (10) and then attach to dust extraction 

outlet (6). Fig. F.

2.  To remove the dust extraction adaptor, press both release levers (10a) and pull the 

dust extraction adaptor off. Fig. G.

Dust collection box

1.  Attach the dust collection box (11) to dust extraction outlet (6). Fig. H.

2.  To remove the dust collection box (11), press both release levers (11a) and pull the 

box off. Fig. I.

3.  To empty the dust collection box, open the window of dust collection box (11c) by 

pressing the release button (11b). Fig. J.

 

Sanding paper without holes, e.g. from rolls or by the meter, should be 

cut to suitable size and punctured with hole pattern by using the punch 

(12).

Paper size:

 mm for sanding paper with hook-and-loop system.

• 

95x235

 mm for sanding paper without hook-and-loop system.

Changing/attaching sanding paper with hook-and-loop system (Fig. A)

1.  With the hook-and-loop system, sanding paper is simply removed by pulling off.

2.  Align the hole pattern of the new sanding paper (13) with the one in the base plate 

(7) to ensure efficient dust extraction.

3.  With the hook-and-loop system, sanding paper is simply pressed on the base 

plate.

Changing/Attaching sanding paper without hook-and-loop system (Fig. B, C, D)

1.  Lift up and unlatch the two clamping levers (8) from both sides of base plate (7). 

The front and rear clamping bars (8a) are now opened and loose. Pull out old 

sanding paper and clean the base plate if applicable. Fig. B.

2.  Align the hole pattern of the sanding paper (13) with the one in the base plate (7) 

to ensure efficient dust extraction. Fig. C.

3.  Guide the sanding paper (13) under the opened rear clamping bar (8a) and clamp 

the sanding paper by latching the rear clamping lever (8) into the base plate (7).

4.  Fold the sanding paper (13) firmly around the sanding plate (7). Guide the other 

end of the sanding paper (13) under the front clamping bar (8a) and clamp the 

sanding paper by latching the front clamping lever (8) into the base plate (7). Fig. 

D.

Punching (Fig. E)

Punch sanding papers without a hole pattern with the provided hole punch (12) after 

attaching it to the base plate as instructed above.

1.  Align the base plate (7) with a fitted sanding paper to the hole punch (12). Ensure 

that the edges of the base plate are flush with the rim of the punch.

2.  Press the product into the hole punch (12) fully.

3.  Detach the hole punch (12) from the sanding paper.
