4. Instructions for disposal
Do not dispose of the device with regular domestic
waste!
Electronic equipment must be disposed of at
local collection points for waste electronic equip-
ment in compliance with the Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment Directive.
The CE Marking is simply an official symbol relat-
ing to the free movement of a product; it does not
warrant a product’s characteristics.
Used batteries should not be disposed of with
regular domestic waste! Instead, take them to
your local battery disposal point.
5. Mounting
The window sensor essentially consists of two elements:
an electronic unit (1) and a magnet (2) (see p. 16). The
electronic unit (1) must be mounted on the frame and the
magnet (2) mounted on the window.
•
First select the window that is frequently used for venti-
lation and which the window sensor is to be attached to.
•
The magnet (2) can be mounted on either side of the
electronic unit (1). Installation must be in parallel with a
maximum spacing of 8 mm.
•
The magnet (2) must be centre-aligned with the elect-
ronic unit (1).
