5. Check the printed pattern and select the numbered pattern,
from #1 to #4, that is misaligned. (It multiple numbered
patterns are misaligned you will need to repeat this step.)
For example, pattern #1 above requires alignment. Press the
Reset button to select a pattern until the ink out lights
indicate the appropriate numbered pattern, as shown
below.

6. Press the Eject button to enter your selection.
7. The printer prints seven patterns, similar to the ones below.
Under this mode, the paper tray lights turn on while the
operate and lower paper tray lights flash.
8. Determine which set of lines on the printed sheet is vertically
aligned, and select the corresponding number using the
Reset and Eject buttons and the table below. Press the
Eject
button, repeatedly if necessary, to move the selection
to the right and press the Reset button to move the
selection to the left, until the ink out lights’ status indicates
that the vertically aligned pattern has been selected.
