Printer and Option Information (Windows only)

This utility allows the printer driver to confirm printer
configuration information, such as whether an optional paper
cassette or extra memory module is installed. It also provides
specific information regarding certain characteristics of the printer
such as Printer ID (Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0 only).

The information displayed in the Printer and Option
Information dialog box and the ability to automatically update
that information varies depending on your system setup and
whether you use the EPSON Ethernet card when connecting
over a network. Under certain circumstances, you may need to
manually input some information. If a message appears in the
Current Settings window prompting you to enter settings, or if
you change the printer’s configuration, follow the steps below
to manually make the necessary settings:
