Disengage the two Hooks, and then remove the Lower Case.

Turn the Pinion Gear on the PF Motor to operate the Ink System so that the
Cleaner Blade can be checked. The Cleaner Blade must not touch any of the Gears
around the PF Motor at this time.

W A R N I N G

When you install the printer mechanism on to Lower Housing,
locate a ink tube top to the correct position on its pad. If you forget
this, user will encounter the ink leak trouble.

C H E C K

P O I N T

In the same way as with previous models, the Print Head and
Cleaner Blade are not pre-installed when the Printer Mechanism
is being replaced. However, there are restrictions in the way the
Cleaner Blade is installed which are different from previous
models, so the following should always be observed at this time.

If you replace to new waste ink drain pad, be sure to dear the
current protection counter by using adjustment program. (Refer
to chap. 5)
