Loading Continuous Paper

Once you have installed the tractor and separator, the printer

is ready to accept continuous paper.

To do this you first need to adjust the printer.

Check that the DIP switch under the dust cover (SW-4 as de-

scribed in Appendix D) is in the OFF position. This switch must

be off except when the optional cut-sheet feeder is installed.

Push back the paper separator so that it’s in a raised position

on the back of the printer (see Figure E-6).

Next, pull the paper friction lever forward to move the paper

pressure bar away from the platen.
