Troubleshooting
The solutions herein are for problems when printing
without using a computer.
If you cannot solve the problem, you can get more
information from the LCD screen. Press
x

then select
Help
.
Error/Warning Messages
You can diagnose and solve most problems by
checking the error messages on the LCD screen. If
you cannot solve the problems, by checking the
messages, use the following table and try the
recommended solution.
Error Messages
Solution
A printer error has
occurred. See your printer
documentation.
Turn PictureMate off and then back on.
If the error message still appears,
contact your dealer.

Photo Cartridge low.
Replace Photo Cartridge
soon.

Press
OK
to clear the error.
Prepare the new photo cartridge.
If you tried to clean the print head,
replace the photo cartridge first.

now. For best results, use
a genuine PictureMate
Photo Cartridge:T5852
Replace the photo cartridge with a new
one.

The printer's ink pads are
nearing the end of their
service life. Please contact
Epson support.
Contact Epson support to replace ink
pads before the end of their service life.
When the ink pads are saturated, the
printer stops and Epson support is
required to continue printing.
