For this interface, you use the optional Epson Bidirectional

Interface Kit for DOS Computers. It contains a bidirectional

interface board, a cable, and software. You first install the board

in your computer, using the instructions in your computer

manual. Then you connect the scanner to your computer with

the cable.

Connecting the parallel interface

Use the cable from the Bidirectional Interface Kit for

DOS

Computers.

1. Make sure that both the scanner and computer are turned

Off.

2. Connect the 25-pin end of the cable to the computer, then

tighten the screws on the sides of the connector.
