The font selected in the Default Setting mode corresponds to Other on the

control panel. The following fonts are not selectable in the Default Setting
mode: Draft, Roman, Sans Serif, Courier, Prestige, and Script.

* These settings are effective when IBM2391 plus emulation is selected.

Printer functions

This section describes each of the printer functions.

Character table

Your printer has 11 standard character tables as well as tables for

20 other countries. See the Appendix for character samples.

International character set for Italic table

You can change 8 characters in the Italic character table to suit

your printing 

needs. 

Since these characters are 

often 

used in other

languages, they are named after countries and are referred to as

international character sets. See the Appendix for character

samples.

Font

You can select 6 fonts in Default Setting 

mode. 

The following fonts

are indicated on the control panel and can’t be selected by default

settings: Draft, Roman, Sans Serif, Courier, Prestige, and Script.
