Maintenance and Troubleshooting

Fatal error

This type of error indicates one or the following problems:

❏

The fluorescent lamp needs to be replaced.

❏

The transportation lock is not released.

❏

The scanner is malfunctioning.

Make sure that the transportation lock is in the unlocked position;
then turn the scanner off and then back on again. If this does not
correct the problem, consult your dealer.

Operating Problems

Problems you may have while using the scanner often involve the
operation of your software and computer. Operation problems
usually occur because of:
