To use the HELP menu, follow these steps:

Type
HELP
at the MS-DOS command prompt and press
Enter.
The screen displays a menu of MS-DOS commands. Use
the cursor keys to highlight the command you want
information about and press
Enter.
If there is more than one screen of information
about
the
command you selected, you see the prompt PgUp at the
top of the screen. Press the
PgUp
key to display the rest of
the text.
To return to the HELP menu, press the
E
SC
key. Press
E
S C
again to exit the HELP program.
To bypass the HELP menu and get information about one
command, follow these steps:
1.
At the command prompt,
type! HELP,
followed by the
name of the MS-DOS command you want information
about, and press
Enter.
For example, to see help
information for the COPY command, type the following
and press
Enter:
HELP COPY

about
the
command you selected, you see the prompt PgUp at the
top of the screen. Press

to display the rest of the text.
