4.3 

Activating the machine 

 

The activation of the machine happens in 4 steps. 

 

4.3.1  Release EMERGENCY STOP control 

 

By moving the EMERGENCY STOP control in direction of arrow it jumps 
out of its locking. Now you can open it and have access to the main 
switch. Now the machine is ready for operation.  

 

4.3.2  Main switch 

 

By activating the main switch by pushing the green switch 

[ I ] 

you 

supply the machine with current. The motor starts. 

 

4.3.3  Turning direction choice 

 

You  can  adjust  the  turning  direction  with  the  turning  direction  choice 
switch.  In  the  middle  position 

0

  the  motor  does  not  start.  Position  the 

switch  following  inscription  at 

R

  for  clockwise  rotation  or 

L

  for  anti 

clockwise direction. 

 

4.3.4  Driving speed choice 

 

The  choice  of  the  driving  speed  at 
stepped belt gears has to happen during 
stoppage of the machine by applying the 
belts  (2).  The  table  (3)  is  at  the  internal 
side of the belt cover.  

 

 

Declamp  the  arrester  of  the  motor 

bracket (4) 

 

Declmap the string (1) 

 

Lay  the  belts  following  the  table  at 

the belt discs 

 

Clamp the  belt  string  at  the motor  so  that the  belts  let  push  at  their 

own thickness 

 

Attract the locking screws 

 
 

4.3.5  Close chip protection  

 

Click the chip protection in front of the drilling spindle. 

 

4.3.6  Close belt cover  

 

The  belt  cover  has  to  be  closed  and  assured  against  opening  for  the
