AWARD BIOS 3-1
Award's ROM BIOS provides a built-in Setup program which allows user to modify the
basic system configuration and hardware parameters. The modified data will be stored
in a battery-backed CMOS RAM so data will be retained even when the power is turned
off. In general, the information saved in the CMOS RAM stay unchanged unless there
is configuration change in the system, such as hard drive replacement or new equipment
change.
It is possible that the CMOS battery is dead. This will cause data lose in CMOS RAM.
