1.6 Symbols and signal words
The following symbols and signal words are used in this documentation to indicate hazards
and important information:
Symbol/signal word Meaning
Warning of hazardous electrical voltage
DANGER Draws your attention to a hazardous situation that will
result in serious injury or death if not avoided.
WARNING Draws your attention to a hazardous situation that may
result in serious injury or death if not avoided.
CAUTION Draws your attention to a hazardous situation that may
result in minor to moderate injury if not avoided.
