Installation of Finnrock heater
Minimum clearances
Installation
• The minimum height of the sauna cabin
must be 1.90 m on the inside. (see Fig 1. )
• Make sure to maintain at least 4 cm horizon-
tal gaps between the heater and sauna cabin
wall (see Fig. 2).
• The minimum safety gap to the heater guard
rail, sauna benches or other fl ammable mate-
rials must be at least 4 cm (see Fig. 2).
• The upper edge of the heater guard rail
should not exceed the height of the heater.

• The fl oor in the sauna should be level and
made of appropriate materials (e.g. tiles).
Flammable materials are not allowed!
• Install the heater at the designated place. Pay
attention not to scratch the fl oor and not to
damage the feet of the heater by moving it
around. Use protective gloves during hand-
ling as the inner parts may have sharp edges.
Make sure that the heater stands reliably on
all four feet.
• Do not load the rocks until the heater is at its
fi nal position. Make sure to observe the mini-
mum clearances.
• Open the terminal box at the rear side of the
heater by unscrewing the fi xation screws and
pulling the cover off the heater. Carry out the
electrical connections as shown in the con-
nection diagram.
• The connection diagram is also attached on
the terminal box lid for references.
• Make certain that you have complied with
the local electricity regulations and the VDE
recommendations.
• Put the cover of the terminal box back to the
original place and secure it with 2 fi xating
screws.
• For inserting the sauna rocks please observe
the chapter „Sauna rocks“
