mined are eliminated by instructions and training courses.
Maintenance and duty of care

the operating company ensures that the product is maintained and op-
erated in a reliable operating state.
Product registration and operating licence

the operating company ensures that a necessary registration is carried
out with the authorities and offices at the location of the product and
that all necessary operating licences are present.
o
the operating company ensures that legally stipulated inspections of
the product or product components are carried out by technical experts
in time.
2.5.2
Responsibilities of the operating personnel
The operating personnel have the following responsibilities:
To read and understand the operating instructions
Operation of the product only in an operational state
Observe the fundamental regulations on occupational safety and accident pre-
vention
Check that during start-up and operation, no unauthorised persons remain at
the product
Report to supervisors immediately in case changes occur which impair safety
Use and maintenance of the necessary protective equipment
Cleanliness and clear arrangement in the vicinity of the product
