Introduction

This installation guide provides an overview and installation instructions for the Enterasys
Wireless WS-AP3705i.

WS-AP3705i Overview

The Enterasys Wireless WS-AP3705i is a cost-effective solution for extending your wireless LAN
around indoor locations. There are four spring clips on the back of the AP for quick and easy
attachment to a flat drop ceiling T-bar rail. Mounting brackets are available as optional accessories
for mounting of the WS-AP3705i to walls and protruded drop ceilings.

The WS-AP3705i is an 802.11n AP that also supports 802.11a/802.11g and 802.11b legacy devices. It
is delivered in a round, compact enclosure. The WS-AP3705i contains four internal antennas,
providing range and coverage versatility.

The WS-AP3705i interoperates fully with the Enterasys wireless LAN, including support for
Enterasys wireless VoWLAN, branch office mode, availability and mobility features.

The following views illustrate the LED status indicators (front) and connection ports (back) on the
WS-AP3705i.
