Optional Data
EMDCB allows transmitting up to four byte of optional data that can be freely defined by
the user. The length of transmitted optional data is set using the OPTIONAL_DATA_SIZE
register as described in chapter 7.6.8.2.
The following data will be used depending on the selected length of optional data:

If length of Optional Data is set to 1 byte then Data Byte 0 will be transmitted
◼
If length of Optional Data is set to 2 byte then Data Byte 0 will be transmitted first
followed by Data Byte 1
◼
If length of Optional Data is set to 2 byte then Data Byte 0 will be transmitted first
followed by Data Byte 1, Data Byte 2 and finally Data Byte 3
The organization of the Optional Data register is shown in Table 10 below.
