Scratching
Scratching refers to rhythmically moving a rotating vinyl record back and forth to
produce sounds. On this device, the vinyl record is replaced by a USB stick and the
slipmat. The scratching is simulated and only works when playing music via the USB
connection.
Press the
SOURCE
button for the respective channel (Channel1 or Channel2) until
USB
is shown on the corresponding display.
Press the
/
button for the desired channel to start playback.
Press the
SCRATCH
button for the desired channel to activate the scratch func-
tion. The
SCRATCH
button lights up and the function is active.
Then turn the slipmat clockwise or anti-clockwise to produce the scratch effects.
Pitch
Pitch refers to speeding up or slowing down a track that is playing. This function can
only be used when playing music via the USB connection.
Effects
It is possible to play back 8 different sound effects per channel. These effects are
stored with double allocation of the button.
During playback, press one of the
EFFECT PAD1

or
EFFECT PAD 4
buttons to activate the standard effects.
During playback, press the
FILTER
button and one of the
EFFECT PAD1

buttons to activate the additional effects.
CUE
You can to set one cue point in a song per channel.
At the desired point during track playback via
USB
, press the

button for the
channel.
Then press the
CUE
button. The
CUE
button lights up and you can resume play-
back.
Press the
CUE
button, the song skips back to the desired point and pauses.
CUE1, CUE2, CUE3
You can specify 3 additional cue points in a song for each channel.
During playback, press the desired
CUE1
,
CUE2
or
CUE3
button. The respective
button lights up.
Press the desired
CUE1
,
CUE2
or
CUE3
button and the song skips back to the de-
sired point.
Start/pause playback
Press the
/
button to start playing tracks.
To pause playback, press the
/
button again.
Press this button again to resume playback.
